Never thought I would feature a Vanessa Carlton track on a year end list. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a talented musician, but her music has never struck a chord with me. That is until now. I guess tying the knot with Deer Tick’s John McCauley is rubbing off because i’m digging her new indie/folk sound.
