The xx have confirmed what we’ve all been waiting/hoping for – the trio is in the studio recording their third full-length album. No word on an actual release date, but they plan to “test” out some of their new material during their recently announced live shows later this year. What are your favorite new releases this week?
This is easily one of my favorite tracks of 2015 and i’m shocked it took me so long to discover the music video.

Amber Coffman (The Dirty Projectors) is venturing out on her own and based on our first taste, I believe she has a strong solo career ahead of her. “All to Myself” is the first single from the upcoming full length City Of No Reply and has a very 50s/60s doo wop sound, which i’m a big time sucker for.
Coffman sums up the new track best – “For anyone who’s ever found themselves uncomfortably restless, sad and alone, or even temporarily doubting themselves and their dreams, this is a mantra, a pep talk, a love song to yourself. It’s a song you can slow dance by yourself to without feeling funny if there’s no one else there. A small reminder not to spend too much time fretting and just to get out there, live your life and do what makes you happy.”
