bed. released one of my favorite EPs (klickitat) and songs (“Billy Joel”) this past year. So needless to say, I can’t wait to hear what’s next from the Portland based, slow-fi maestros. This new track, “Girl,” is the first from their upcoming debut full-length album.
If you’re in Portland next week, the band will celebrate the single’s release on December 15th at Crystal Ballroom.

A few of my favorite covers from this past year…
Weezer and Wavves teamed up earlier this year for a limited-edition split 7″ that features an unreleased Weezer track and Wavves’ take on “You Gave Your Love To Me Softly.” This song was originally released back in the 90s for the Angus soundtrack (great soundtrack btw and a super underrated movie) and is actually my favorite Weezer song. This Wavves version is super fun and really well done.
