This is the first single from the soundtrack for the documentary Rubble Kings, out on October 30th via Mass Appeal Records. Produced by Little Shalimar, the soundtrack, which is based on the score of the film, features appearances by Run The Jewels, Bun B, Mr Muthaf*kin Exquire, Ka and Roxiny amongst others.
Rubble Kings tells the story of how a few extraordinary, forgotten people did the impossible, during the gang era of NYC and how their actions impacted the city and the world over by planting the seeds to what would become hip hop culture.
The seven-track EP, out September 25 via Epic, features guest appearances from Run the Jewels and Skrillex. “Fell in the Sun” will premiere on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show today tomorrow (via Pitchfork).

Video for “Early” (feat. Boots), from 2014’s Run the Jewels 2. El-P and Killer Mike are currently working on Run the Jewels 3, but I hear it won’t be released until 2016…maybe Meow the Jewels can tide us over while we wait.
