The entire record is great, but I can’t keep myself from listening to this song over and over and over again. It’s basically fun personified in song. Fun fact: the song was written by Julian Casablancas

I had pretty much written these guys off and completely ignored this album. Then I heard the album’s title track…mind blown. If the rest of the album sounded like this, it would probably be in my top 10 of 2016.

The worlds of indie, hip hop, and EDM team up for one of the best remixes (and live performances) of the year. And after the shit show of an election we just suffered through, we deserve more love and happiness.

2016 was rough for music fans. We lost far too many artists this year…Prince, Merle Haggard, Phife Dawg, Leonard Cohen, Sharon Jones…damn.

But losing David Bowie hit me the hardest.

I still find it hard to believe. How is Bowie gone? He’s Ziggy Stardust, The Thin White Duke, Major Tom, Aladdin Sane, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Nikola Tesla, The Goblin King.

We’re lucky he gave us some many great years and so much good music, because there will never be another artist like Bowie. Never. Bowie was one-of-a-kind and only Bowie could leave us the way he did. On his terms.
