The new LP Coexist from The xx is easily my most anticipated release of 2012 and after patiently waiting months for new material, you can now stream the new track “Angels”. I love love love this track and fears of a sophomore bust have slipped away. Coexist will be released September 10th via Young Turks (preorder today from iTunes and get Angels instantly).
Earlier this week, The Huffington Post premiered the video for Kishi Bashi’s “I Am The Antichrist To You”. Kishi Bashi’s wife created the story and all the illustration, and his good friend Anthony Scott is responsible for the impressive stop motion animation. Enjoy.
Also, Kishi Bashi’s first headline tour begins in a couple of weeks. He’ll be playing ALL songs and tickets are selling out fast, so don’t hesitate to grab tickets. More tour info at kishibashi.com/shows.
