[on repeat] Citizens!//Caroline EP

Though this EP was released back in July, I heard it for the first time earlier this afternoon and I am quite smitten.  No joke, i’ve been listening to them, pretty much exclusively, all day.  Composed of Londoners Martyn, Thom, Mike, Lawrence and Tom , Citizens! produces very addictive and imaginative pop music.  The band’s debut LP Here We Are is currently available in UK/EU/AU and will be available here in the US Oct. 8th, courtesy of Kitsuné.  In the meantime, enjoy a few of my favorite tracks and videos below.

[watch] Crystal Castles//Plague

Crystal Castles’ third full-length is set for release this November.  Their latest single “Wrath of God” is coming this Wednesday (9/26).  On top of all that, they kick off quite the extensive tour this Thursday (9/27).  While we wait for all three, enjoy the video for “Plague”.

And to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of The Kills the band has released “Dream & Drive” — a book of photographs documenting the band’s career, with a selection of intimate behind the scenes, press and live shots taken by their friend and long time collaborator, the renowned photographer Kenneth Cappello.
