“Rest While You Sleep” is the newest music video from Los Angeles’ Body Parts, premiered by Paper Magazine, who calls the clip, “pretty remarkable.” The song is found on a double A-side single recently released by New Professor, also out of LA. The choreography was created by & stars band members Ryder Bach and Alina Cutrono, directed and edited by Matt Sobel and shot on location in Death Valley, Santa Cruz and Los Angeles, without the use of a green screen. The National’s new album, Trouble Will Find Me, is due out May 20 on 4AD. In the meantime, enjoy the first single from the album, “Demons”, below. I really enjoy this new track and can’t wait to hear the entire album. What do you think?
Though i’ve only heard two tracks by HAERTS, with one being a remix, the debut album due out this year is still one i’m most excited about. “Wings” is dream pop at it’s best and the Wildcat! Wildcat! remix has been my jam all week. Stream both below and stay tuned for more (rumor has it a new single is on the horizon).
As you probably already know, Anthony Gonzales (M83) scored the soundtrack to the new Tom Cruise flick, Oblivion, along with Joseph Trapanese (who helped Daft Punk with Tron: Legacy). Though the physical release is next week (April 9th), you can now stream the entire soundtrack at Pretty Much Amazing. Enjoy
