[on repeat] Kan Wakan//I Had To Laugh

“I Had To Laugh” is the latest single from producer/film composer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Kan Wakan. The song features the impeccable vocals of Rachel Fannan and the cinematic sounds of the Sofia Philharmonic. It is pure beauty.

Kan Wakan’s new triple LP Phantasmagoria is due late Spring 2017 (pre-order here).

[anticipation] B.Miles EP

B. Miles is gearing up for the release of her new self-titled EP. Serving as the follow-up to Mile’s debut record Twenty Fifteen, fans can expect more stirring vocals and tight production. Miles recently spoke with The Fader and premiered the excellent debut single from the new EP – “Running.”

And while we wait for more new material, enjoy my personal favorite from Twenty Fifteen – “Salt.”

B. Miles EP is out March 17.

[watch] Father John Misty//Pure Comedy

Father John Misty is prepping the followup to 2015’s I Love You, Honeybear and today he dropped a video of new material – “Pure Comedy.”

He’s been playing this song during live sets recently, so there’s a good chance this ends up on the new record, which may be out this Spring.

[on repeat] Cuddle Magic//Trojan Horse

Easily one of the more interesting artist/band names I’ve come across in recent memory, but Cuddle Magic is more than just a fun name. The excellent folky/electronic single “Trojan Horse” is from the band’s forthcoming LP (Ashes/Axis) and sounds like Sufjan Stevens collaborating with The Postal Service. Enjoy.

Ashes/Axis will be released 1/27 via Northern Spy Records.
