i don’t quite remember where i first heard this latest discovery. it could have been one of the paste magazine samplers, while listening to the latest hype machine tracks, or last.fm. honestly it doesn’t matter, what does matter is how good this band is.
nurses is an experimental indie rock band based in portland. often compared to animal collective and grizzly bear, nurses formed in 2006, but it was the release of the band’s sophomore album ,apple’s acre, that helped make 2009 a break-out year.
