[watch] Class Actress//Bienvenue

Brooklyn synth-poppers Class Actress just released the beautiful new video for “Bienvenue”.  The second clip from the critically praised debut album Rapprocher (out now via Carpark Records) was shot on location in Paris this past December and was directed by Clement Gino and Gregory Faure. Class Actress will return to Europe in late March following select North American dates between now and SXSW.

Elle Magazine chatted with Class Actress creative voice and frontwoman Elizabeth Harper about the video, Parisian style, men and more. She notes: “Part of what Class Actress is about, to me, is the golden age of travel and what that time invokes: love letters, elegance, adventure, letting loose, loving life, feeling things rather than avoiding them. Paris is a city of senses and sensuality.” Read the full interview here.

Home video goodness from one of my favorites, Acid House Kings!

The track is from the band’s latest LP, Music Sounds Better with You, which just happens to be one of my top 10 albums of 2011.  Enjoy the video below, as well as the Dave DaG remix of “(I’m In) A Chorus Line”.

[watch] Two Against One

Noted as one of several forthcoming cinematic offerings from Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi’s Rome project, which will comprise a theatrical live-action project, the heralded collaborative single with Jack White now gets the visual treatment. The video for “Two Against One” welcomes an animated cut, actually done rather well, might we add. Expect to see more aesthetic offerings from the album in the near future. The video is part of an interactive project by acclaimed music video director Chris Milk and animator/co-director Anthony Francisco Schepperd.  Check the link for more. Enjoy
