[watch] San Cisco//Rocket Ship

San Cisco turn anything into fun, as director Matt Saville follows the San Cisco rocket ship around in their home town of sunny Fremantle in Perth, West Australia. An assortment of strange costumes, comical creatures and the comings and goings of friends and family in San Cisco’s day‐to‐day life, spliced together with footage of Josh Biondilo’s uncle and father shot on Super 8.

“Shooting ‘Rocket Ship’ was really fun, it was like a day in the life of San Cisco. We hang out with friends and family and did some crazy stuff, some legal, some not so. I have no idea who that is jumping off the bridge!” said lead man Jordi Davieson of video to their catchy, upbeat track, “Rocket Ship.”

Showing no signs of slowing down since the launch of their sophomore EP, Awkward (and with the Awkward video with over 1.3 million youtube views) San Cisco are headed overseas on a number of adventures that will no doubt be fun but certainly won’t break any laws. But before then they are heading back to the studio to record their debut album and grace the stage at East Coast festival Splendour In The Grass. [source: planetary group]

To coincide with the release of M83’s Reunion EP, the official music video was released a couple of days ago. Reunion is the second single from last year’s epic Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming.  The EP features a handful of Reunion remixes from the likes of Mylo, The Naked And Famous, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr..

[watch] Cusses//Worst Enemy

Cusses is an up-and-coming indie rock band from Savannah, GA.  If you’re a fan of female fronted rock, think Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Nico Vega, you’ll enjoy Cusses.  The band recently debuted a new video for their single “Worst Enemy” and will be releasing a full-length album later this year.  In the meantime, Cusses is performing a handful of shows over the next couple of weeks, and you should definitely check ’em out if you’re in the area.

Update: Free download of “Worst Enemy” on RCRD LBL.
