The Phantogram featured tracks on Big Boi’s last LP (Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors) are easily my favorite tracks. Needless to say, I’m super excited for the upcoming collaboration of the two. Rumor has it the album will be titled Big Grams and they already have an EPs worth of material, which could extend to a full LP. Stay tuned for more.

Son Lux blew me away this year. He’s got such a cool sound and his latest album, Lanterns, doesn’t disappoint one bit. Hands down one of my favorite albums of 2013 and i’ll never get tired of this track.

In late 2012, this Portland five-some almost threw in the towel, but they carried on and their perseverance definitely paid off. I can’t wait to hear more from Wild Ones, I believe they have a bright future ahead of them.
