“Yann Tiersen will curate a very special Halloween event in Paris this year, celebrating the centenary of the Fantômas series, directed by Louis Feuillade.
Tiersen has selected and is working with Tim Hecker, James Blackshaw, Loney Dear, AMIINA and his own band to provide a live score for each of the five films from the restored Fantômas series, which will run for six hours in the beautiful surroundings of the Théâtre de Châtelet, Paris.
Currently in the studio working on the follow up to 2011’s Skyline, this new track is entitled ‘Janet’ and comes from a soundtrack Tiersen is working on.” [via SoundCloud]

Diego Garcia’s solo debut (Laura) was one of my favorite releases of 2011. Needless to say, I was very excited for Garcia’s sophomore effort, Paradise.
Hands down…one of the best new records i’ve listened to in quite awhile. Paradise really is a must listen, beginning to end, but the stand out tracks include: “Dónde Estás”, “She Dances”, “Sunnier Days”, “Darling Please”, and “Start With The End.”
And if you have a chance, catch one of Diego’s live performances. He’s on tour now and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
