Mew is releasing a compilation album, Eggs are Funny, October 25th. The album (named after one of the first songs the band ever wrote together) is a collection of songs from Mew’s history. As an added bonus, the album will also include a brand-new track, Do You Love It?, as well as a DVD with all the music videos the band has ever done, including the never-before-seen video for Panda.
Peter Silberman (The Antlers) has taken remixing to a whole new level. Taking a bit from every track on the Ra Ra Riot album, The Orchard, and has mashed them all together for one interesting piece of music. Check it out below and let me know what you think.

Pixies just released a free live EP as part of the ongoing 20th anniversary release of Doolittle. The 4-song collection features live versions of Crackity Jones, Gouge Away, Monkey Gone to Heaven, and the B-side Dancing the Manta Ray.
