T. Hardy Morris will release his debut solo album, Audition Tapes, July 30th on Dangerbird Records. Primarily known as the front man for Southern psych-rockers Dead Confederate and as a member of the collective Diamond Rugs, Morris’ solo effort unleashes a rather unique sound. “Middle of the Night” is from the band’s second EP, Be On My Side, available now on their bandcamp page. Following the announcement of their forthcoming EP ‘I Love You’ and drop of the title track’s charging lyric video (below) and free download — which premiered worldwide on Consequence of Sound and featured as “Video of the Day” on AOL Spinner. Hitting the road June 4th through to July 18th, the award winning quintet will be previewing new material from their soon to be released EP, the band will be playing headline shows as well as dates with Desert Noises and Parson Red Heads.
Said The Whale’s ‘I Love You’ EP is set for release June 18th (via Hidden Pony/Caroline) with a full length due out in the fall.
