Dudley Slang is a Paris-based DJ with a super cool sound. Earlier today, The French Shuffle premiered his latest banger “Gladiatoreyz (Edit)”and i’m hooked. Can’t wait to dig deeper into the world of Dudley Slang. KCHM2 is due out Nov 4 on Moveltraxx [pre-order].
Honestly, I thought the Jacksonville indie rockers Black Kids were no more. Until today, I really thought 2008’s Partie Traumatic was their last release (“I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance with You” is still one of my favorites and on heavy rotation at my house). Based on the new song/video, it looks like we can expect more material in the future.
Haven’t heard much from The Blow since they dropped their excellent self-titled LP back in 2013. Since then, the duo has begun the WOMANPRODUCER initiative, which is holding of a series of events this week in Brooklyn.
To kick things off, The Blow are performing tomorrow at National Sawdust and releasing a brand new track – “Think About Me.” Enjoy the new track below. And hopefully this means more material from The Blow is coming.
Stumbled upon this fantastic PWR BTTM track on my way into work this morning. Originally written for their 2015 debut LP Ugly Cherries, the track has since received the full single release treatment via Father/Daughter Records.
“Harlœ is a headstrong introspective urban-alt-pop future-legend ready to finally be heard. She has lent her writing talents of late to Britney Spears and Charli XCX on the way to finding her own voice and landed on this self-produced confessional that’s perfect for turnt up sad-girls across the world. 2017 is shaping up to be Harlœ’s breakout year with a string of anthems in the pipeline and ‘All In My Feelings,’ her mission statement as an artist to be reckoned with.” (via)
