Following the announcement of their forthcoming EP ‘I Love You’ and drop of the title track’s charging lyric video (below) and free download — which premiered worldwide on Consequence of Sound and featured as “Video of the Day” on AOL Spinner. Hitting the road June 4^th through to July 18^th, the award winning quintet will be previewing new material from their soon to be released EP, the band will be playing headline shows as well as dates with Desert Noises and Parson Red Heads.

Said The Whale’s ‘I Love You’ EP is set for release June 18^th (via Hidden Pony/Caroline) with a full length due out in the fall.

Damien Jurado is headed to a living room near you! Beginning in May, Damien heads out on an intimate tour, playing small rooms and houses across the United States. Tickets for the house shows will be limited to 30-50 and can be purchased at Undertow Tickets. Full list of of shows is below.

And as a nice little bonus, the good peeps at Secretly Canadian have provided a little preview of what to expect on this tour. Damien recently played a candlelit show at Urban Grace Church in Tacoma, WA. Local paper The Weekly Volcano said of the performance, “his powerful, restrained voice dripped with sorrow and beauty, carrying the weight of the world so we didn’t have to.” Enjoy the full set below.
