I’m still obsessed with Karen O and the Kid’s 2009 soundtrack for Where the Wild Things Are and her single for Her (“The Moon Song”) should’ve won the academy award last year. Needless to say, I’m am very excited for Karen’s debut solo record. Crush Songs is due out Sep 9 via Cult Records. Stay tuned for more.
The Phantogram featured tracks on Big Boi’s last LP (Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors) are easily my favorite tracks. Needless to say, I’m super excited for the upcoming collaboration of the two. Rumor has it the album will be titled Big Grams and they already have an EPs worth of material, which could extend to a full LP. Stay tuned for more.

Love Panic is the debut LP from the Brooklyn-based duo and due out May 20. Two singles have been released so far and I love both. Can’t wait to hear the rest on May 20.
