[on repeat] NONA//Otherways
NONA is the solo project of LA’s Michael Goldman. He has a very dreamy/slow wave indie rock sound or as Goldman describes it – “a little bit out there.”
I came across “Otherways” the other day while digging through Hype Machine for some new tunes and I definitely stumbled upon a new favorite. I believe a proper release is in the works, but I really don’t know for sure. In the meantime, enjoy “Otherways” below and catch NONA live if you can.
[on repeat] Nutrition//These Days Don’t Exist EP
If you enjoy the etherial, ambient, and electronic sounds of acts like Burial, Teen Daze, Four Tet, and Dntel, you’ll dig the latest EP from Australian producer Nutrition.
[watch] Moby & The Void Pacific Choir//Are You Lost In The World Like Me?
Moby & The Void Pacific Choir released their debut album last week, These Systems Are Failing. And today, they’re sharing the official video for “Are You Lost In The World Like Me?”, directed by Steve Cutts.
Moby says – “A few years ago I saw Steve Cutts’ ‘Man’ video and was amazed and blown away. I did some internet sleuthing and found his email address and humbly asked him to make a video for me. And, lucky me, he agreed. The video he made for ‘Are You Lost In Yhe World Like Me?’ is without question one of the best videos that’s ever been made for one of my songs.”
