beach house – teen dream
the dead weather will be hitting the road this spring beginning mid-april. they won’t be making too many stops, so if you’re lucky enough to live nearby any of the stops…i’m jealous. the dead weather consists of dean fertita (queens of the stone age), alison mosshart (the kills), “little” jack lawrence (the raconteurs, the greenhornes), and everybody’s favorite band-slut, jack white (the white stripes, the raconteurs).
broken social scene are set to release their latest record, as-yet untitled, on may 4th, 2010. this is the follow up to their acclaimed self-titled album , released back in 2005. the new album was written by the current line-up: kevin drew and brendan canning, justin peroff, charles spearin, andrew whiteman and sam goldberg, and lisa lobsinger.
jónsi has just announced his north america tour dates and if he is set to play anywhere remotely close to you, do yourself a huge favor and go his show. he’ll be playing in my neck of the woods for coachella, but i am really tempted to make the trek to san francisco to see him headline. check out the dates below and update your calendar.
