These are simply in alphabetical order. It’s hard enough to rank my top 10, i don’t want to do it more than once a year. Enjoy all of these on Spotify, which i’ll continue to update throughout the rest of 2013. And with some highly anticipated releases still on the horizon, including new albums from Porcelain Raft, Smith Westerns, and Elton John, i’m sure this list will evolve.
But enough babbling, enjoy my favorite albums of 2013 (so far) and please check back in December to see which (if any) make the cut for my top 10 of the year.
A few of my favorite new releases this week, including new stuff from Braids, Disclosure, and Surfer Blood. As always, be sure to visit Largehearted Boy for more new music.
A few of my favorite new releases this week, including the latest addition to my ever growing collection of holiday tunes, She & Him’s A Very She & Him Christmas. Enjoy.

The wait is over. The official lineup for Sasquatch! 2011 is here.
The big names are a plenty (Foo Fighters, Death Cab for Cutie, The Decemberists, Modest Mouse, Wilco…to name a few), but it’s the slightly-lesser known artists and acts that make this lineup fantastic (Robyn, Beach House, Sleigh Bells, Das Racist, Radio Department, Best Coast, Surfer Blood, The Drums, Matt & Kim, Yeasayer, and more)!
And if the lineup wasn’t good enough news for you, in honor of the festival’s ten year anniversary Sasquatch! 2011 will continue on for a fourth day, running from Friday, May 27th through Monday, May 30th at the Gorge Amphitheatre (in George, WA).
Four day passes will run you $285 (not including parking) and are available for purchase here, while individual day tickets will go on sale Monday, February 14 at 10 am.
