Mates of State are taking time out of recording the follow up to last year’s Mountaintops and hitting the road. In early December they’ll play a string of east coast dates that will be featuring them as the duo lineup – just Jason and Kori, the organ, drums, their voices and their original gear.

So, I was lucky enough to take a much-needed vacation the last couple of weeks, but I wasn’t able to do much of anything in regards to this here blog…even though there seemed to be an abundance of musical going-ons while I was away.
